UPDATE about the FREE eBook Project!

I’ve been looking into the Amazon ebook idea. I’m not 100% positive they allow a book to be FREE all the time, so I am also looking at Smashwords which does do FREE all the time and is a author friendly site. Smashwords is a great platform, much like Amazon, but with even more ways of reading eBooks. Once things get to that point, I will let you know what all we’re doing. If you have any qualms with Smashwords and have signed up to be part of the FREE eBook Projects then fill out the form to say NO to that question that is in there. Smashwords is a way for those without any apps or e-readers to read by using pdf, or even txt formats. You may see an eBook free all the time on Amazon but it is possibly part of the price matching program they have. So if the item is free elsewhere then Amazon eventually price matches it. But I never want there to be money involved in this. I don’t want anyone thinking I am trying to make money off of another person’s intellectual property. I am thinking of this as a neat way to get everyone’s name in a book, share your blogs, and have a nice thing to show our friends and families.

Was nice to see some of the Haiku community welcomed here in and appreciated the Haiku as well. And Clarence let us inside that mind of his a little more with some of his comedic likings. “…was born in the ‘oldest recorded town in Britain’, the Pre-Roman town of Camulodunum, now known as Colchester in 1968. (The earliest record of the town’s existence is a reference by the Roman writer, Pliny the Elder in AD77). Dorn and her family lived briefly in New Jersey, USA. before returning to the East Anglian region of England whilst She still a child. It was there that Dorn began writing as early as Seven years old, mostly writing poetry. Not sure if I was watching Gilligan’s Island when I came up with that title or it has something to do with her Haiku. You’ll need to click to find out. Peter Bouchier: Plea(se) | Wherever I lay my pen, that’s my home. Two things here about Peter’s Haiku, the first being the image is by his brother. The second is the message delivered is one of universal sentiment at this time. Although I chose the prompt words before I knew about recent events, there was an obvious reason they found their way to my mind.

jazzytower (PR): Forrest Canvas | Thoughts and Entanglements. A Haiku is supposed to involve two things outside of the syllable structure and two formed sentences.
