RonovanWrites 75th #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Abbreviated Review

This week you see the format that will most likely be here for the next couple of weeks or so for the Holidays. I hope you all understand. I need a bit of a rest. My son is out of school for the holidays and I would like to get some writing done as well … maybe. If you see a review in this format, it’s not wrong or incomplete. I may try to get a full one done, but this is a just in case.

I will continue to include the new participants, the first offender, and leave the Author links to Amazon and their blogs since it is the holidays and perhaps people would like to check their books out as gifts.

All the links to all the poets are in the comments of the original challenge post. You can get there by clicking HERE. I’ve removed duplicate links that are in there as ping backs and comment links.

Thank you for so many checking their ping backs.

New Offenders!

NEW! Kim M. Russell: Coyote | Writing in North Norfolk. A true nature Haiku. Kind of odd to think about opposites for a Coyote but she did it. Cool. (I so ruin my credibility by saying cool.) “Reading and writing have been a huge part of my life since I was very young. I used to write mainly poetry, moved on to short stories, and finished my first novel for children aged 8+ at the beginning of this year: Joe and Nelly, a ghost story set in London in the Second World War. I am currently writing a novel for older children, another ghost story called The Haunted Tide, this time set in North Norfolk. … continue to read more.” I almost included the picture of her standing with the dragon but thought you would want to go see that for yourself.

NEW! Pancake Bunnykins: That Certain Look | A Real Messy Beautiful Twisted Sunshine. I’m not sure if I want to comment on the awesome writer’s name, the cool blog title, or the great Haiku. I think I just did all three. “I am an Asian mermaid lost in transition. Instead of a purple fishtail, I got legs. I never learned how to swim. I might drown, I know, but my body will embrace the water where I belong, there and then, maybe, just maybe, I can have my tail back. Despite my failure in such transformation, my love for the sea, the sand and the sun is infinite.  continue to read more.”

NEW! Blackcherriess: Fiendish eyes | cherrytato. Spells and women and things like that. Hey, I didn’t write it. “She adores cherries, and she has a good friend called potato. After joining his family, she adopts the family’s middle name: tato. Because she has a tendency to stick first and middle name together, cherrytato is born continue to read more.”
