Christmas Spider This strange spider, little more than a centimetre across showed its spectacular abdomen as it clambered about on the sandstone rock-face.

Ronovan Writes Monday Haiku Prompts for the week this week are Sing and Day

This is a photograph I took of a peculiar spider that was on a rock wall at a quarry where we performed a Christmas Concert on the weekend.

As most people know, Perth is rife with critters that crawl, bite and sting but I have never seen this particular spider before. Perhaps I have discovered a rare new species!!!
