RonovanWrites 83rd #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry #Links

Comments are bit skimpy this week. With the book launch of today for Amber Wake: Gabriel Falling now live on Kindle as well as Paperback, I may be able to get back in the swing of things. But after only links last week I felt I needed to get back to a normal review this week. Not that I ever am normal in anything I do.

If an author does not have a comment, as do the entries, that means they did not have an entry this week, but I left their place here. Is it for the benefit of advertising their work? No, it is for the ease of my formatting their next entry in the challenge. It’s a bear to do those. (And maybe there is a little heart felt type thing I have for authors.)

New Offenders!

Don Massenzio: Flawed | Don Massenzio’s Blog Independent Authors Unite!   The Haiku is in the comments, and his blog is the other link. Some of my favorite authors are Harlan Coben, David Morrell, Stephen King, Jonathan Kellerman, John Grisham, and Hugh Howey. My favorite book of all time is To Kill a Mockingbird.
I started writing as a way to combat the long hours of travel and numerous hotel stays that are part of the ‘glamorous’ world of corporate life. I use writing as a therapeutic outlet to combat my homesickness...[more on his author site].”

Mira: Everlasting Love | To Wear a Rainbow. She is telling it like it is in so many cases. @BediMona

ShidaTahirah: Lit | 876LoveR. The island lady returns. She is going on the theme of romance. Hmm … now who would have thought when I came up with the prompt words for the week leading up to Valentine’s Day that they would inspire romance Haiku? (I’m raising my hand.) @Rebel_Shida

Mira: Hidden Flame | They, You and Me. More romance. Mira does romance well. Sometimes it’s the end results of a romance that’s gone bad, then she does the inspiring moments of being in the good times of romance. @BediMona

Judy: Kindled Fire | Edwina’s Episodes. Even though she went all sweet and romantic, I could not help myself but do a word play with the title. I knew she had it in her. @EdwinasEpisodes

  1. Another great set of Haiku! Sorry I didn’t have the time to do the Tweeting frenzy like last week!
So…. What did you think the haiku actually meant…? A message of true love, or all that glistens… and all that?

  2. Excellent and entertaining as always Ron. So cool that you put the book covers up and even the ones who didn’t participate this week. Also, I can’t thank you enough for continuing to mention Sandra’s and my photo challenge words. So kind. And ‘Must Read’? Eeeks, nearly fell off my chair! I’ll have to go check my kindle as your book should be there now. I’m so happy for you, congratulations Ronovan!!

  3. Thank-you Ronovan. When I joined in, I had no idea you would count me as an author and link to my platform. Hey! Valentine’s Day. I just remembered, your book is released Valentine’s Day. Excuse me while I pop off and get it at Kindle Australia … … done, and tweeted. All the very best for Amber Wake. 🙂
