MG novels run 20,000-40,000 words, while YA is 40,000-65,000 words. Protagonists there are usually 12-13.

ohhh. Sadly that is about 18000 – 38000 more words then I have written on one thing. But I love that they are doing a contest. Thanks for the info to help me out. lol Clearly I was a little confused. Are you going to enter?

Possibly. But I wanted everyone to have the opportunity as I can never be certain what I can accomplish at any given time. I do have one I could submit though, so who knows. 🙂
