April 23, 1564 is popularly accepted as the day of William Shakespeare‘s birth. Do I need to tell you who this guy is? I say is cause he ain’t a was and never will be. (Kinda like speaking all not correctical sometimes.)

Another interesting note is on this day in 1597 William’s play “The Merry Wives of Windsor” is first performed, with Queen Elizabeth I of England in attendance.
