Before I got to the end where I read where the inspiration came from, your lyrics drew me in. Then I saw that Phillip Phillips’ version was involved and I had to listen to it, being a Phillips’ fan from seeing his first Idol audition.
The words are haunting and moving. I can hear them set to the melody. Beautiful!
