Life’s Ebb and Flow
heat flows through new veins
to the ends of outstretched tips
moon’s hold starts to ebb

the sun gives its warm embrace
the energy flows

slowly, life ebbs toward death
hope waits in the dark
hope waits in the dark
lifelines retire out of time,
still, latent, until…

Lovely Shi Rensa – been meaning to write one for the last few prompts, now feeling guilty! 😊

Thank you. One tip, for whenever you decide to take the plunge, the linking verse needs to be something that can be both a quiet verse and a stronger verse. It can give, say the first stanza a punch at the end but in the second it opens with a bit of power. You do this with punctuation and spacing. Bill did one a while back I need to find and share. It was the best example I’ve seen so far. He has this and the Decima down pat. I kind of hate him for that at times. 🙂 Especially since I created this form.
