Haiku Challenge 340 Poets Collected.

Links to the 21 Poets with 1 NEW Poet from last week’s challenge of RELEASE and Simple and their haiku. All links open in a new window when clicked on.

I was happy to see most of the poems moving to the lighter side of life, as that was part of why I chose the words I did. One could make them a closing to a year or any type of experience you’ve had as well as something just openly freeing.

Monday morn haiku,

Monday morn haiku,
a simple bouquet of joy,
a jewelled release.

A jewelled release
on this grey-tinged rainy morn
in search of beauty.

In search of beauty,
yet ‘tis there, a wing of birds,
a bounce of blue sky.

A bounce of blue sky,
a whirlpool of warm weather-
January’s charm.

  1. Ronovan, thank you again for this. I love the haiku challenges and am glad I picked it up again. You are right. reading over these entrees the mood was indeed lighter, more playful. Let’s hope it is a sign that we are indeed more positive, getting to the end of the pandemic tunnel, and that we may return to kindness.
