Sweet Dignity – a Shi Rensa haiku a poem

SWEET DIGNITY

the world slips along
nothing trying to save it
but with grace, we can

but with grace, we can
fight against the flow of fate
slipping past tyrants

slipping past tyrants
decency defines the day
with decisions made

with decisions made
we slip into a new world
of known dignity
