Look what you’ve done to me, oh oh.
(A lyric poem-I know there have been a few lately, but I have these songs going through my head. If I could only write music or play an instrument.)
Ahh Tell you I see you now, clearly in . . . my . . . eyes, for the very . . . first . . . time.
Can’t seem to find . . . my . . . rest cause now I’ve come . . . to know the best, oh oh.
Oh, what have you done to me.
Thrillin’ to my knees, with your hummin’ melodies.
Oh!
What you’ve done to me.
I can’t stop it.
I can’t drop it.
I just gotta know once again and again.
Tell me it’s okay, it’s not sin.
All my thoughts are crazy. Don’t know where to begin.
Look what you’ve done . . . to . . . me, oh oh.
I once was man who could stand,
But now you’ve got me,
Got me on my knees, beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ please.
Done to me.
Done to me.
Got me on my knees beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ please.
Oh no! I don’t want it to end no no, oh no.
Never gonna stop, never gonna drop.
Gonna keep goin’ until this freakin’ world bangs bang to an end
Blows up, and carries us away.
Look what you’ve done . . . to . . . me, oh oh.
I once was man who could stand,
But now you’ve got me,
Got me on my knees, beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ please.
Done to me.
Done to me.
Got me on my knees beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ please.
Please
Please
Don’t get me wrong, no no . . . oh no.
There is no wasted time, I’m glad to be a man, even when I can’t stand.
I love it when you got me beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ please. Yeah!
I so want to lose control and let the lovin’ flow, oh oh.
Look what you’ve done . . . to . . . me, oh oh.
I once was man who could stand,
But now you’ve got me,
Got me on my knees, beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ please.
Done to me.
Done to me.
Got me on my knees beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ please.
Please
Please
Oh
Please
Oh

Well, I wish I wrote music! I do play the piano but I’m beyond rusty. While I was reading it, I kept hearing a little melody but then it would disappear. That got me thinking – is this a ballad? Something with a catchy little beat? Hmmm
Oh yeah, I really like this! (In case you didn’t figure that out already!)

I love this! And, I can hear the rhythm–it is not a ballad, it is foot-tapping, get it on…kind of Temptations, Marvin Gaye ? I love when they GROOVE…I wonder who inspired this? She must be something else??? Sounds like a woman that could drive a man crazy 🙂 Your other commenters are missing the groove…the rhythm…the mood…the movement….ooh….ahhh…….yeah! Sexy? Yeah, but not in a cute, sexy way…this has some drive…push and pull ! 🙂

Well you nailed the groove and the meaning of the lyrics. 🙂 Perfect interpretation all the way.

What about your inspiration? She must really be something to inspire those lyrics and that groove? 🙂

Yes. As perfect as I could ever imagine a woman being.

Wow–I am envious. I hope I can make a man feel like that someday…until then, it’s just my cats, I guess (LOL) They love me unconditionally–especially when I shake their bag of food and pour it–same thing, they go crazy. But, alas, I guess I will have to wait for Mr. Right to drive him crazy… 🙂 Happy you found someone like that! Would love to meet her 🙂 Oh my, I just realized, I am turning into a “Cat Woman” –ok, no more kittens! LOL

Every morning I feed the cats. and Kitty and Spunky come running when I shake the bag of food. That is hilarious you said that. Awesome.
