Sweet Dreams a Décima Poem.

My entry for this weeks Décima Poetry Challenge No.1 Lake. (A New Challenge here on ronovanwrites.com)

Sweet Dreams

To sink into a fiery lake.
Once felt, would not be named a sin.
If it were, I’d do it again.
Our fire couldn’t be a mistake.

Their fear of the snake, such a fake.
Hide in the dark with their wet dreams,
fearing their truth’s not what it seems.
I know what I want, there’s no catch,
Cause there’ll never be another match.
I can’t help but scream in my dreams.

Ardent Nights. My Haiku for my Challenge this Week.

Ardent-Nights

Loves Touch

Kisses haunt my lips,

With a quivering loves touch,

Release my pleasure.

Man and women kissing just lips black and white photo

(the third of my haiku for my prompt challenge words haunt & release, screams pain, scent of fear)

A poem of the Embracing a Wounded Soul site. As I completed it I noticed the shape and was pleased with how it turned out as I simplified my sentences.
