Now I See

Now I See

I once saw through eyes tinted by past lives… my own and others.

Mistakes made from then till now… guiding hands toward a dark end.

No longer blind… free of mind… eyes now see the world in its true form.

Full Speed Ahead – a poem

Full Speed

Waiting to reach a number… thinking wisdom comes with age.

Surprised… discovering more mistakes and foolishness ahead.

What brings maturity and wisdom… surviving and embracing it all.

If Only – a poem

If Only

To know then what I know now… what a difference it could have made.

The mistakes, the miss takes, the timid moments and the terrible.

What would today be if those long ago days had been golden.?

What Now? – a poem

What Now?

The ideal, the divine, the wish, the want … for some out of reach.

Once reached, life is forever changed …  in danger of collapse.

Where once was elation and clarity … the future now void and vague.

Nonetheless – a poem

Nonetheless

Defined by the moment… raised high beyond life’s normal plane.

The delicate arc of form… revealing celestial gifts.

Thankful misery in this… given to an unworthy beast.

Uncharted – a poem

Uncharted

Yielding to complacency … the end no longer defined.

Having spied the horizon …  as though pulled from the mind’s eye.

Make the best of the moment … traveling a future’s path now unlined.

Destination? – a poem

Destination?

My heart’s desire fades across time and space, racing the waves.

Yet, no matter the path traveled, my passion remains full and bright.

But should desire be fuel for the attainable or the denied?
