Passing

Take solace there is hope of better times.

From the cycles of change of the past.

The soul has survived lifetimes.

The mind questions unasked.

I dream of . . .

I dream of a world of kindness and peace.

That is to say, whenever I have moments of sleep.

My waking thoughts are much the same.

And in each one, I speak your name.

For me that quiet place is not alone.

Some may find it with a  heart of stone.

But if you are searching and still haven’t found,

Perhaps it’s due to the wrong places you’ve looked ’round.

Two hearts looking for love?

Or perhaps looking for something more they dream of.

Forgive me if my words lack in some form of manliness.

There is no specific all encompassing definition of  happiness.

Much Respect

Ronovan

A poem I began sometime in July and never finished.
