Today I discovered ISP Central is full of idiots intelligent beings. Previous broadcasted message stated all of region with problems. Now being sent a new communication device for computer system. ISP Central stated I did not have IP service while I was in search engine looking for another ISP in region. Unfortunately they have monopoly a wonderful service that means we need no other provider.

Due to last communication, ISP Central has proven they are indeed idiots most intelligent beings. No IP while in the middle of using IP?

Consumed coffee today. Large cup, half coffee, half sugar. It is fortunate ISP Central are idiots intelligent beings and psychic. My lack of ability to force opinions on various subjects at this moment may be wise. The ability to speak with speed has increased by 100 times. Clarity of thought by 1000 times. Ability to sensor has decreased by infinity. Society, politicians, and stupid parenting has been saved by caffeine and sugar overdose. I don’t drink caffeine. It’s been a trip. Locals have had an ear full. Your loss is their misery.

Other than the above, today has been like many other days, but only more and less so. More writing on two different novels. Less blogging about nonsense. Going through withdrawals from missing blog hotties that visit my location. Hove is Hottie central as you all know. Muse about the meaning of that one if you will. Tongue in cheekie I am today. I’ll leave that last sentence as is. I’m feeling playful. Darn it Jim, I’m a Writer not a Priest. Darn it all, I’m a layman, not a pastor. Yeah, going to go with that one too. You’re welcome.

Will update as able to. Haiku Review Communication will be in best form possible. Perhaps not as entertaining as I hope the last one was. Although have not received many LOL communications from victims participants.

Since the Haiku comes out at the same time, some of you don’t get that opportunity to write a Haiku in your sleep. So, I’ve decided to give a person a week, in addition to the first entry, a reblog here on Ronovan Writes. Make certain you check back here on your reblog for comments. They do get them.

Challenge #68

The rules are simple.

Take the two words and write a Haiku. I use Haiku in English as my style, which is 5 syllables for the first line, 7 for the second, and 5 for the third, but you can use what you like. For syllable help visit HowManySyllables.com.

The two words can be used as you like. Words have different definitions and you can use the definitions you like. You can even use a synonym word as long as it does not change the meaning. Go to Thesaurus.com for Synonym help.

Copy the link of your finished haiku URL in a comment so we can all go and visit your site to see what you have done. I will comment on your site. You can do a ping back. What’s a ping back? Put a link back to this prompt page, if you like within your post, as long as it does not take away from your haiku. This is simply a prompt and challenge to encourage people to try Haiku and give some a prompt and a place to share in comments so we can find each other. TJ Paris: Cry Out To Me |La vie est trop courte pour boire du mauvais vin. Last week TJ brought as three and he does so again. I didn’t put out a Haiku of my own until Wednesday as part of my #BeWoW link share. I waited because I thought TJ had figured out the Haiku I shared just after midnight my time on Mondays was a Haiku for the challenge and thus had the challenge words in it. But what does he do this time? Three again and just as fast. Man, the dude just has the flow. @Roccoco_a_GoGo

Annette Rochelle Aben (Best Selling Author, Radio Show Host): Sunshine | Annette Rochelle Aben. I figure this was either about sunshine or she was talking about herself. Elizabeth: Sunrise | Tea & Paper. The humor of this is I named Annette’s before seeing the name of Liz’s. I think she goes by Liz at times. But I know her as Elizabeth but wanted to share her preference. But anyway, I like how she came up with the image this week, and it is part of her Haiku. How the challenge sets minds to thinking and observing is fun. @teandpaper

Alice: GSimple Gestures | Boomerang Zone. Now from a lady who might bring to mind a a movie title from a 1974 film by Martin Scorsese that saw the lead actress win the Academy award, we have Alice. Fortunately she is doing the opposite of the movie titles name with us. . @Vidocq_CC

Judy: Suit to a T (Shirt) | Edwina’s Episodes. She may not be the one cast as a Frank N. Furter and no she will not be sullying the memory of a classic but this lady makes any color look good. Haiku must Fall in to her lap with as quickly as she writes them. @EdwinasEpisodes

jazzytower: Who’s Carol? | Thoughts and Entanglements. Public Relations says I should cuddle up with this Haiku. Not sure if some would approve of that, but depending on who Carol is, I might be game. @jazzytower

Kat: Three Cheers to Kat! | like mercury colliding. Man Kat can do. All the way from Nepal this former leader of OMRLP now spends her days enjoying words and the world around her. Her commentary of the season of the US national pastime is quite poignant considering the fate of various teams of late.

Liz: That Cheery Call | Quilted Poetry. All the way from the age defying weather of the cryogenic frozen lands of the north, comes a lady of esteem, no not the family of German actors from the early 20th Century, but a brilliant wordsmith in her own right. Her self titled Haiku could have a sub heading of Contrary Calling as well. @QuiltedPoetry

Jane Dougherty (Author): Sing, Sing a Song | Jane Dougherty Writes. The three degrees of Jane this week were not written about a popular Australian Trio of singing brothers, although one of their members is named and does sing. I dare say this one hit wonder of a singer has perhaps the longest charted song on record, and does not appear in a prison of the same name as the title may infer. Mira:(2 links) Cheer Me Up | They, You And Me. I would love to but I’m certain there would be several to protest my attempts. I think we all fell for Mira At First Sight and have enjoyed her presence ever since. As for the Haiku, oh this one touches the heart in a deep way and reaches out to many a member I am certain. Cheer and Joy | To Wear A Rainbow. Giving others a bit of support I do believe. Such a thoughtful lady. @BediMona

Ritu: Gone-A Tonka & Last Orders | But I Smile Anyway. No, I’m sorry for all you field hockey fans, this is not that Ritu. Perhaps after reading that last Haiku I might change my mind and think Ritu is using a fake photo and this IS the field hockey player. Nonetheless, the Tonka involved here is not the toy that brings smiles and cheer to millions of children. @PhantomGiggler

Clarence:(3 this week.) The Victim | PrarieChat. Not sure if he’s already earned his wings but I think he’s been living a wonderful life, and I bet he’s tired of hearing things like that. A story of the evils of life and love and aftermath is provided to us this week. And a second one: Susan Lucci’s Last Goodbye. Ha. Someone has been watching way too much TV this week. Sue Vincent (Author): Recall | Daily Echo. What can you say about a beautiful woman with red hair and a list of books a mile long to her name that hasn’t already been said? No, seriously, what can you say? Let her know in the comments for her Haiku. Her story told is full of nature and will bring a rosy glow to your cheeks . . . if you hold your device close enough to your face when you read her Haiku that is. Sandra: Orange | Wild Daffodil. To praise our Flower in residence would be like Gilding a Lily, so I’ll move on from here. Daffy left us with a bit of a mystery this week with her photography. Where, what, why, and when were not answered, although normally a forthcoming individual, she was forthawaying this time. See what I mean by Make the Most of Your Post. by visiting this Haiku and noting what all she connects it to.

Steven: Thrush | Ramblings of a Drabbling Mind. Steven has been kind to us. Not only does he continue to provide his experimental Haiku but also a traditional one for those of us who need the in-your-face form.

Greg: Shouts of Joy | Potholes in the Road of Life. Sorry ladies, and perhaps some men, Greg isn’t part of Wolford Fashion so you’ll have to look for those bodysuits elsewhere. The young man brings us a message today, a message of opposing feelings, as he should have, and one that could apply to the Writer’s Quote Wednesday by Colleen. His participation, as explained in the beginning of the post shows what the community that has grown here has truly become. Two words + three lines = many friends. @greg_wolford

Janice: On a Crescent Moon | Ontheland She may be a HÓU but that just means she’s popular. Don’t know what that means? Ah, then you haven’s snooped like the master snooper has. She’s a Monkey of Fire and all signs point to her being quite a success wherever she may find herself. Her softer side is shown in a very lovely moment shared here. I greatly enjoyed reading about what led to the Haiku being written and the fact the words were on her mind at any given point during this time speaks to me a great deal. It means a lot and is most appreciated. @ontheland1

Jen (JK): SKΆL & SALUT | The Secret Keeper. Some may wonder if JK is secretly a Rowling success in the world of publishing. That would be an affirmative. She publishes several times a week, making her a widely published author read in more countries than many of the supposed top authors of our time. A toast to our friend for her two Haiku that gives us a gander in to a life that lights up and puffs us up with (pride?). @occultguardian

Tessa: The Last Call | Writing is my life. No, not the Canadian hockey player, nor the subject of the Norwegian novel of the same name, well maybe not, I haven’t asked. She is a a writer of fiction though, and has her work on her site in chapter form for your enjoyment and convenience. Her Haiku can be happy or sad, all depending on which subject you focus upon and which formed sentence you are looking at. @TeresaSmeigh

Daniel Schwamm: Call on ME | Musing Life’s Mysteries. I don’t believe he Daniel is a mushroom farmer, no matter what some of you may believe to have deduced. Although that would be a tasty venture. And no, not a Kiwi farmer either, (Neither the bird nor fruit.) and I think that rather droll of all of you for assuming that a New Zealander would automatically be such. Ahhh, when I first saw the title of his Haiku it brought to mind the song Lean on Me, and although that is not the title, the message is much the same. Al: Cheers of the Disturbed One | Al the Author’s Blog. A well preserved sort for an early to mid 20th Century Actor, Writer, Director, and Producer in Hollywood, Al Lane now spends day as a Civil Servant while spending most of his day writing for our enjoyment. Yes, you read that correctly. Some of you will actually get it, and some will hurt me physically for implying you wouldn’t. For some unknown reason the young man decided to write FIVE Haiku on his birthday. Mostly about alcohol even when disguised as something else. 110 Cheers for AL!!! @AlistairLane

Elusive: Law of 22 Prairial | Elusive Trope. Hiding out in the wilds of PA after finding success in leasing out parts of the city with his name across the welcome signs for entertainment purposes, the Elusive one now pleases his visitors with writings and continues to grace our community each week with a Haiku offering. The Haiku is a great terror of an attempt this week. A true life or death of a read. And on his birthday as well.

R. Todd: Mockingjay | A Flash of Fiction. I didn’t want to out our friend, but Lord Todd has been found alive and his passing in 1997 at the age of 89 was an attempt to escape to the glare of public life and slink into the obscurity of the blog life. But he has been found out. My powers of deduction are beyond compare. I have not the slightest what that title for the Haiku nor the Haiku itself means. Do you? It must be some obscure reference to something he’s seen in his past life. @psibrone

D.B. Mauldin (Author): Early Bird & Nature | mama bear musings. Not sure if it’s too hot, too cold or just right where she is but her Haiku seems to make me think just right. Maybe I should have eaten first before perusing that first one. At least it wasn’t spaghetti. Melissa Barker-Simpson (Author): Trick or Treat | M Barker-Simpson. Never knew a game show host and jailed football player had an offspring somehow but here we have the proof. Just remember to have your pets spayed or neutered or you may find some gloves near an uncomfortable scene. I believe the title gives away the Haiku meaning, as it should to some extent. Pat B.: Four Cheers for Pat | A season and a time. Imagine a famous chef Brockett in your neighborhood. Wouldn’t you want to be her neighbor? This week Pat went cheerfully nuts with commentary on the nature of life in various facets.

J Lapis: Calls to Cheer | DarkLight Harbor. Feeling blue today or precious as a gem? No? No worries, I believe our poet has it covered. Suspense in the later of the two offerings this week. Had us wanting to throw stones from feeling so blue but pulled things out at the last moment.

First, make certain to come back and visit those Haiku that are submitted later in the week. We all tend to have our certain times to publish, don’t miss out supporting your other Haiku community members.

Can you go nature this week with your Haiku? Not a must, but it could be a challenge. Click HERE for the synonyms for Grief. And HERE for Pine. Be sure to scan down the entire page for each as you may be surprised at what you may find. My original thought of Pine doesn’t even appear till the very end.

Challenge #66

The rules are simple.

Take the two words and write a Haiku. I use Haiku in English as my style, which is 5 syllables for the first line, 7 for the second, and 5 for the third, but you can use what you like. For syllable help visit HowManySyllables.com.

The two words can be used as you like. Words have different definitions and you can use the definitions you like. You can even use a synonym word as long as it does not change the meaning. Go to Thesaurus.com for Synonym help.

Copy the link of your finished haiku URL in a comment so we can all go and visit your site to see what you have done. I will comment on your site. You can do a ping back. What’s a ping back? Put a link back to this prompt page, if you like within your post, as long as it does not take away from your haiku. This is simply a prompt and challenge to encourage people to try Haiku and give some a prompt and a place to share in comments so we can find each other. This week is a Thesaurus.com week folks. Harp and Clear both mean more than you think. Once again, no Opening Haiku from me to influence any thoughts.

New this week will be in addition to reblogging the first entry, there will also be a reblog of another member of the Haiku Family. Since the Haiku comes out at the same time, some of you don’t get that opportunity to write a Haiku in your sleep. So, I’ve decided to give a person a week, in addition to the first entry, a reblog here on Ronovan Writes. Make certain you check back here on your reblog for comments. They do get them.

I get the feeling the prompts were either difficult or were perhaps confining this week. One of the greatest things about Haiku is the recalling of memories when pulling forth inspiration for writing. That’s one reason I like the stories I read going along with Haiku or photos the poets have taken and used for the challenges. It’s a nice way to get to know a bit more about each other.

Steven: Haiga and Rutting | Ramblings of Drabbling Mind. Off to search engine I went for this one for several reasons. But we not only received a Haiku about one of the theme we’ve seen so far but also one about the mating call of s seldom scene nature inhabitant.

Meredith & Martha: Mating/Shindig by Meredith and Lonely/Cad by Martha | Meredith’s Musings. And those are four Haiku, two each from the Angels. I just love how the two of each work together for titles. Awesome. You know, sometimes I get the feeling they are sending message through their Haiku. Hmm. @Meredithlbl

Pat B.: Tippy Toes | A season and a time. Okay, I have an image in my head that the Haiku gave me and thus the name I chose for the Haiku. I am now dying of laughter even though the Haiku is not a humorous one. But then I need a good laugh at times. Odd things set me off that way. 🙂

Okay, this week the words are making you scratch your heads, right? Now it’s time to go to the thesaurus. I’m not kidding you. That word stag can mean way more than you think. My Haiku is something that happens in this part of the word A LOT. But you may have already seen my contribution to the challenge this week earlier. And the link below is right this week. 🙂 I have triple checked but you can always copy and past from the URL above. 😉

Challenge #63

The rules are simple.

Take the two words and write a Haiku. I use Haiku in English as my style, which is 5 syllables for the first line, 7 for the second, and 5 for the third, but you can use what you like. For syllable help visit HowManySyllables.com.

The two words can be used as you like. Words have different definitions and you can use the definitions you like. You can even use a synonym word as long as it does not change the meaning. Go to Thesaurus.com for Synonym help.

Copy the link of your finished haiku URL in a comment so we can all go and visit your site to see what you have done. I will comment on your site. You can do a ping back. What’s a ping back? Put a link back to this prompt page, if you like within your post, as long as it does not take away from your haiku. This is simply a prompt and challenge to encourage people to try Haiku and give some a prompt and a place to share in comments so we can find each other. Another week, another challenge, another group of 47 great people making all of this work, and I didn’t go searching for lost and errant poets this time. Both WordPress and Blogger blogs are represented.

I’ve had people recently tell me how much all of you communicate with each other and engage each other. People wonder how “I” created such a great THING here where people show up and participate. I always say I have nothing to do with it except coming up with two words a week and an example. I’m not sure how it’s grown like this, well I do, you guys have done it. Thank you for what you do to make this the success it is.

Okay, enough of the mushy stuff, let’s get on with the awful poetry this week. 😉 Ahhh, sarcasm, it suits me so well.

Torrid dreams begin,

This night of Longed For passion,

Ends with cold shoulders.

Sometimes those Honeymoon nights can be a bummer. 🙂 Not that I PERSONALLY would know that. Nope, not moi.

Janice: Hot Summer Ni…urrr, Autumn…What is it anyway?!?! | Ontheland. Yeah, the title actually fits better than you might think. Those of us here in the North American region might all be wondering about this. @ontheland1

Claudette: Life Cycle of an Arguement | to search and to find. Very nice. And very true. I know of people in this right now and it does not end well.

Sandra: Yellow | Wild Daffodil. She’s a combiner and this week I don’t just mean all the challenges she puts into one. She makes an Empty promise for next week. Muahahahaha.

Jane Dougherty (Author): Life of a Flower | Jane Dougherty Writes. Jane says her three Haiku don’t have a common thing, but I say they do, if you want them to. Oh boy, now to see what ET put upon the anvil. My head perhaps? Hmm, I think I am safe. Or so I am interpreting it as my being safe. Gotta love readers prerogative. 🙂 Wow, reading the comments and the big words used, I feel sooo inadequate now. 😀 (No idea why the use of all the smileys.)

Marje: Hot Rave Drug Murder and Tsunami of Tears | Kyrosmagica. These are not our usually humor Haiku from Marje this week. So I gave her a hard time this week and almost stumped her? And I wasn’t even trying. I’ve thought about seeing if I could come up with difficult words, but then I would have to use them as well…at least twice. @Marjorie_Mallon

Ruby: Blush of flames | Whispering Thoughts. Two meanings in one. Or one throughout. You decide. Nature or man? It’s up to you. Well done.

denis1950: Hot Start | Haiku Hound. 3 Haiku in the 3/5/3 style. You may see this around quite often in the challenge. The 3/5/3 makes it even more challenging. Try it if you like. So a Serious, a Nature, and a Humor. 🙂 I think the nature one qualifies as Humor as well. Hate to say it but it reminds me of ladies at a hair salon. 🙂 Not sure why. I know I will pay for that one when some read this. Great images, the first is a wow, the third is very cool, and the middle is the hair salon.

I have just ruined any credibility this challenge may have had. (And one month to my next doctor’s appointment and medication update. I am sooo sorry for you people.)

Week 61 was for the words Wine & Tears. I came up with the prompt words from a spur of the moment thought I had in a melancholy mood and I shared it on Twitter. I liked the way the words turned out after reading them the next day and they became the starting point for the example or opening Haiku of the Challenge. Laughter can do miracles. It’s my go-to for any situation and usually works to get people I know into a better frame of mind and realize all is not lost or hopeless or as bad as they think.

With a wine red nose,

The clown made the people laugh,

While tears flowed inside.

Yeah, I know, the blog title is a mouthful, but if you think we have a hard time saying it, try it with a mouth of Early 21st Century Cake. As for the title? I came up with that from not only the Haiku but the description of the photo used. As always you know we’re going to get something creative from this entry. Entry #2 In Vino Veritas. Judy: Bad Blood | Edwina’s Episodes. The title I gave this week is implied somewhat by the Haiku. I get a sense of initial conniving followed by realization. As I pondered a title friendship came to mind and the colors in the image used, and a take on the prompt words and that led me to Taylor Swift’s song Bad Blood. There is a story behind the song about friendship. @EdwinasEpisodes

Carol: Affair to Forget | Mama Cormier. Two Haiku that one reader noted was an affair in two Haiku. Thus I decided on the title. For me it would have been Moutain Dew cola at Taco Bell instead of the setting in the image she used. 🙂 @Carol_Cormier

Mira: let go | They, You, and Me. Nice. Romantic, sexy, sad, all rolled into one. Entry #2 love story… | To Wear a Rainbow. This one is actually two. @BediMona

Steven: Vineyard | Ramblings of a Drabbling Mind. Quite poetic with the words this week. I know poetic in a Poetry Challenge should be a duh thing but sometimes the offerings are very poetic. I would explain it but the more I read it the more the words begin to jumble. 🙂

Clarence: Taste of Wine | Prairie Chat. Clarence has been letting his inner romantic out lately. He doesn’t disappoint this week.

Sandra: View | Wild Daffodil. Combining the two challenges she likes to do, this one and Bluedaisyz Weekly photo challenge, we get a amazing photo that goes perfectly with the Haiku. I just hope they made it back okay. Nice to see where you’ve been as long as you can still make it to where you’re going. 🙂

Denis1950: Sunset Over Wine | Haiku Hound. Okay, the two Haiku are great. But when you put your photos of those sunsets of over the bay with those boats masts silhouetted…WOW. Great combinations all around.

Al: Full Seasoned | All the Author’s Blog. Well, he says the prompts spoke to him, and I believe him. 7 Haiku, 4 Titles, 1 narrative. Yeah, they spoke to him. @AlistairLane

Amy: Recovery | Haiku of a Homeschooler. I enjoy those Haiku that have a deep personal meaning. When the author shares that meaning and allows you to enter into that world of emotion with them, it is something special. This is one of those. The title is mine, but the Haiku gave it to me. @me_the_seeker

Meredith & Martha: Wine brings forth the truth | Meredith’s Musings. As you know, if you are a regular, we have four Haiku this week from our Angels. The one title is mine to somewhat sum up the feel I get from what they shared. First there are Frivolity & Lachrymose from Meredith and then Red, Red, Wine & Obloquy from Martha. You know, when you need a dictionary to read the Haiku you know you are in over your head. 🙂 The ladies went all out this week. @Meredithlbl

Shida: Another Option | 876Lover. I think this may be what they call Jamaican Rules. Not sure why but I want to say her blog theme or layout has changed since she first joined us. I’ve seen it like this before but I like the color and all. @realrebel_r

Becky: Peace Like Wine | Becky G? Oh, That’s Me. Nice twist here. I like those peaceful inspiring Haiku, especially when doing the review. (And now while doing it and my boy “B” ‘playing’ his trumpet he just got on Friday.)

Elizabeth: the solution | Tea And Paper. Ah, nice. Makes me wonder if it would make it worse. 🙂 And I wonder that because of some of the other Haiku I’ve read, but it seems like most of them would agree with Elizabeth. @Teandpaper

Hello Everyone,

This week the suggested focus was to make two complete sentences out of the three lines of Haiku with the second line being the end of the first sentence and the beginning of the second sentence. It wasn’t a must, just a suggestion for those interested in moving toward or testing their ability at the traditional form of Haiku.

The closing Haiku.

The man’s bridges fell

Out of his dark lusting maw

Ron’s tongue wagged, the dog.

To be read as:
The man’s bridges fell out of his dark lusting maw.
Out of his dark lusting maw, Ron’s tongue wagged, the dog.

Ah, the hopes of the higher educated (you get that from his About page, yes I read those.). I remember those days. Oh wait…no I don’t. I have amnesia. (No seriously, I do…I think.) Bored Genius | This Is CruserBladezz. @silvabullethead I am wondering with a handle such as Silver Bullet Head if he would be great to have along in case of werewolves? Totally ignore everything I say from this point on. I took double medications and am really far out there at the moment. No werewolves were harmed in the making of this Haiku Review.

First in this week:

Juliette: A Year in Haiku | Battered Wife seeking Better Life. One year doing our Haiku Challenge, and the only person to do every single one of them, as far as I can tell. Dedication or OCD, I’m not certain but I say thank you for that continued participation. Here the woman I finally settled on calling Juliette explains how she came to be involved in the challenge. She gives not only this weeks Haiku offering but each weeks as well, with a total of 64 Haiku. If you want to see how someone has grown or regressed in their life over a time span, Haiku can be a great way to do that. Juliette has gone from being the mystery woman of the group to a mainstay veteran who I can always count on being involved. And more often than not when I see a like in the comments next to someone’s link on the Challenge post, she’s the one who has liked it. A true full on participate. @BWseekingBL

Annette Rochelle Aben (Author & Radio Host): The Mackinac | Annette Rochelle Aben. Annette chose to stay with her Michigan theme and give us a bit more history of her home state. The picture below is the subject of her Haiku. That doesn’t mean I am giving away what she says though. Judy/Edwina: Working for it | Edwina’s Episodes. First of all, call her Judy or Edwina, both are her names, but Judy seems to be the one commonly used in her comment section by those who chat with her, although she notes that she kind of has become fond of being called Edwina. That image she used sets off everything nicely. You may need to click the image to get a good read of the Haiku. For me that makes it even better though. @Edwinasepisodes

TJ Paris: Star Crossed Lovers | La vie est trop courte pour boire du mauvais vin. A Western Australia with a French Fetish. Very nicely done with the two sentences and opposing meanings. A touch of romance. But with a blog focused on France, especially Paris, how could he not? @Roccoco_a_GoGo

Mira: overwrought | They, You And Me. Feeling anguish here, longing. Two sentence structure as was suggested to focus on. I always get that sense of wanting to give Mira a big hug when I read her Haiku. fears | To Wear A Rainbow. I would swear she can read minds at times. @BediMona

Melissa Barker-Simpson (Author): Brothers in Arms | M Barker-Simpson. Call her Mel. At least that’s what she signs everything as. Not only does she have a blog but an author site as well. She’s everywhere. Now to the Haiku. I had named this one The Journey until I noticed the name in the link. I liked her explaining how she arrives at her Haiku and it makes you begin to anticipate what she’s working on. Sneaky, right? A lot of feeling here. I like it. No Twitter as far as I have found. Me: I don’t normally put myself in here but seeing as I actually did one outside of the example this week, and I linked to the challenge, here I am. No Bridge Too Far | Ronovan Writes. You might think I would have been the first entry, but I thought that a bit unfair of an advantage. The Haiku can mean positive and negative things but moving toward the same end. Clarence: Lovers Schemes | Prairie Chat. Uh oh. Clarence is keeping with the romance here. Tapping into the Romeo side…and the people are liking it. You go Man!

R. Todd: The Bridge | A Flash of Fiction. Ah, nice one. Had not thought of this idea yet. Cool. @psibrone

Pat B.: Arches over Oregon | A season and a time. Seems a couple of people had similar ideas this week. And I must say I do love the subjects, they are fascinating pieces of art to me when done properly. This can read as one sentence or as two.

Maylian: Sensory | Personal Self Perfection. Maylian returns for a second week!!! YAY!!! Two Haiku this week from Maylian. Very much nature with some humanness thrown in. (Is it just me or does humanness “funny? Okay, and no wisecracks about how funny humans look.) Definitely go visit the blog. I love the look of it; the layout and color scheme. Very nice.

Sandra or “Daffy” as one reader called her. Whichever, the WILD ONE IS BACK! Peace | Wild Daffodil the joy of creativity. This is a MUST SEE post. So much included in this one and for very good reasons. Definitely stop by and like it.

JK: Move Silently | The Secret Keeper. Whoa. Seriously serious thoughts there. And an appropriate image for said or suggested serious thought. @occultguardian

Olga: Wait | Stuff and what if… Like the message and the image is kind of spooky in a way but also leaves a mystery to it. Nice.

Janice: Bridge | Ontheland. Two meanings for the Haiku, as Janice explains in her post. And it is a post of encouragement and inspiration. Well here we are again, well so I am anyway. This is actually much later in the order of entries and the second for Janice. Bridge of Change. This just goes to show how the Haiku challenge sticks with you no matter what you try to do. 🙂 @ontheland1

Denis: Survivor | Haiku Hound. Carrying on a theme, yes, I know the Haiku has a prompt and thus a theme or sorts…but hang with me here for a moment. Denis gives us a lesson about a little place just outside of Hobart Tasmania Australia. Like I’ve said before, love these types of pieces. The Haiku says a lot about the subject.

The Elusive One: Bolero | Elusive Trope. Yes, the Elusive one’s name is in the blog, but I’ll stick with Elusive for now. All I can say is I believe there was some freaking out at the prompt words, and I swear I had no idea.

Elizabeth: Madness | Tea&Paper. Ah yes, this one actually struck a chord with me when I read it earlier in the week. I’ve had to think about this often. @Teandpaper

Meredith & Martha: Four From the Angels | Meredith’s Musings. No, that’s not really a title, but they do two apiece each week. The Bridge & Beloved Pet by Martha, and then Family Feud & Progress from Meredith. Great images. I really love them AND Beach Babes with Nick!!! Also, these ladies are facebook friends of mine and I will tell you Meredith is looking great. vronlacroix: Fragile | Simply Snapshots. She’s back for a second week in a row! Love it when new people come back for more AND when I see the comments on their Haiku. Awesome! Fragile is a deep one. I mean philosophically deep. Some said powerful.

Stu06Bloc9: Paired | Pitter Patter Poetry. Whoa. So there are two Haiku. Take your time and read them through. I’m still rereading as…well not AS I type this, but you know what I mean.

Marjorie Mallon (Why did I put the whole name this week? Cause it just sounds cool saying! Well…at least how I say it.): A Sweet Bridge Too Far & We’re Finished Lover |Kyrosmagica. She’s back in her groove people! I tell you this was an entertaining read from beginning to end. Yes, that’s my name for the Haiku, and if you have been reading all of this review this is just after I did the NEW! entry of Gerard, so you know I am a bit insane at the moment. But this one is both deep and funny at the same time depending on how you take it. I’m of two minds about it. Muahahahaha. Stop that Ron! What? Huh? (I just had a conversation with myself. Jane Dougherty (Author): Three from Lady Jane | Jane Dougherty Writes. I couldn’t really come up with one suitable name that encompassed the three, but then it struck me what better name than the name above? You all know that Jane writes beautiful poetry, and won’t enter until it’s just right. She took her time this week, for certain, and I love the painting. Always a class act. A great part of our Haiku family. And I’m not saying that because I reviewed one of her books, or because I interviewed her on my book review/interview site. A very thinky piece, as I like to call them. It makes you sit and ponder a few moments or dozen before the pain begins between the eyes at how you can’t write like that yourself. O,o

Greg: The Bridge | Potholes in the Road of Life. Got the message, both of them. The first was the Greg must have goofed his link back to the Challenge I missed it, and the second is the message of the Haiku. But then I goofed by not catching a mainstay of the Challenge not being present. @greg_wolford

Last night before falling asleep, I felt a Haiku welling up inside. My tablet was in my hands. I wrote down the verse, and with some minor edits the Haiku appeared: “History Repeats.” It is the PING presently above. It seems my reaction to Ronovan’s words Rise and Save had an extremely visceral reaction within me. All three Haiku I wrote in this Challenge came from dreams and a necessity to record what came to me. TY Ronovan for your majorly creative and inspirational choices of words.
